Catherine Bricelj
Previously the Principal at Myrtle Place Elementary School, Catherine led the Lafayette Parish French Immersion School to national distinction as a 2022 Blue Ribbon School. She also earned the prestigious 2022 Terrell H. Bell Award for Outstanding Leadership and was named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques by French authorities for her exceptional work promoting the French language in Louisiana.
Catherine brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence in educational leadership and community collaboration to our team.
Catherine also has a background in Montessori and arts integration.
Jodi Chadwick
Jodi is an expert in early literacy and strategies to support our youngest learners.
Tia LeBrun
Tia loves teaching and learning. Her passion lies with supporting language and literacy acquisition for all types of learners. She has taught French as a second language, high school social studies, elementary French immersion, and has supervised a school system world languages department with a team of about 100 teachers. She has served as an interim school leader and curriculum coordinator for a charter school system, as well.
Her master’s degree is in Special Education with a concentration in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Additional certifications include elementary grades, educational leadership, and English as a Second Language.
Currently, she is studying for an Educational Doctorate in Second Language Instruction.
Charleen Long
Special education, pupil appraisal, and literacy intervention are specialties of this dynamic educator. Charleen has worked in education at every level in the state.
